“Life is too short when you’re not in love with what you do.”
It was in Ft. Myers working for wedding planner that Taylor had found her calling. It was the high adrenaline rush and having to keep after the bride–actually scratch that–groomzillas that where giving this young intern a run for her money.
But don’t let that bright smile fool you, unfortunately, things weren’t always so easy for this ambitious twenty-something young woman.
Prior coming down to Orlando, Taylor was living on her own in Chicago and going to law school.
“I remember being in my car and just sulking,” she recalls. “I was on the phone talking best friends in the area, and having a break down. It’s when she just told me something I would never forget. Do you love what you do?”
Taylor then when on to explain, “I was so crushed, I mean, I worked so hard to get into this law school but…I just wasn’t feeling it.”
Taylor then mustered all of strength and then traveled back to Ft. Myers and got an internship working for a wedding planner. “It was just so intense, but in a good way,” She muses, “I finally had that spark back that I was searching for.”
When she isn’t running around helping our supervisor Bridget and her other fellow interns, Mel and Jordan, Taylor is also a dog mom to her Austrian Sheppard, Charlie. Taylor is also currently enrolled in UCF for Ad PR.
